To pay tribute to our nation, veterans, and first responders, Sertoma proudly organizes the following events: Georgetown’s 4th of July celebration, the National Heritage Essay Contest, and the Flag Program, where over 100 flags are displayed on national holidays.

Sertoma is renowned for organizing the Red Poppy Bike Ride, an event that attracts cyclists from across Texas and several other states. The proceeds from this event are directly reinvested into our community. This initiative not only fosters good health and camaraderie among the residents of Georgetown but also extends support to those in need.

We hold a firm belief in the significant impact our youth can have on the city of Georgetown. Our club members dedicate their time to assisting students in serving their community through various local projects. For example, Serteens operates within both local high schools and collaborates with Sertoma during events and ongoing community

Our club members dedicate their time to assisting students in serving their community through various local projects. For example, Serteens operates within both local high schools and collaborates with Sertoma during events and ongoing community projects. During the September 2024 Serteens meeting, students expressed their primary motivations for joining Serteens: “I like to help people,” and “I enjoy being with my friends and helping people.”
