This feeling of pride and freedom is due in large part to a program of the Georgetown SERTOMA Club.
We currently have over 120 Georgetown businesses participating and we’d like you to join us in our community’s display of our patriotic spirit!
An American flag flying majestically in front of your business is a highly visible sign of your patriotic spirit. As a participant in the Georgetown SERTOMA Flag Program you will receive a 3 x 5-foot flag that will be mounted and dismounted by SERTOMA members on each of the following national holidays:
The display days are:*
Martin Luther King Day
Presidents Day
Memorial Day
Flag Day
July 4th
Labor Day
Patriots Day
Veterans Day
Pearl Harbor Day
*Flags may not be displayed in inclement weather and displays may be extended for the weeks of Labor Day and Veterans Day.
*NOTE: The flags remain the property of the Georgetown SERTOMA Club.
It doesn’t get any easier to show your COUNTRY PRIDE!!! You get all this for a minimal annual subscription. Flag Program proceeds support:
- Hearing Aids for needy youth, veterans and seniors
- College Scholarships for graduating GISD students
- National Heritage Essay Contest Awards for GISD students

For those sponsors that would prefer to display the flag every day or just additional special days, we can provide a flag that you can display as many days a year as you choose. Sertoma will continue to maintain the flag as required. The tax-deductible donation is $85 per year for the standard 9 display days and $110 per year for the year-round option.
